Task 1 – Reading Task: Digital Skills

What is the main idea of the text?
The main idea is that digital skills are important for everyday life including working university and other things such as social media.

b. What are two key points?

1. One key point is that digital skills help people communicate and find information online.

2. Another key point is that digital skills improve employment opportunities and productivity.

c. What part of the text did you find most important? Why?

The most important part is learning how digital skills can help people succeed in education and work because technology crucial  and used for most things.

d. Was anything unclear or difficult to understand?

I was not sure about some technical terms related to advanced digital tools but my understanding is getting better.

e. How did your group help you understand the text better?
We have worked in groups to give each other ideas about this. 



Question: What did you find challenging about this task?

The hardest part was identifying the most important information from the text and summarising it in my own words and making my self familiar with my moodle.
