The roadster was the first car Tesla made in 2008. This initial car was based on the Lotus Elise and they sold around 2,500 vehicles over 30 countries. This was the first car to travel over 200 miles in one charge (That’s the same distance from Swansea to Manchester). The new Roadster coming in 2020 has a top speed of 250mph and a 600 mile range. This will be available in up to 12 different colours.
