Printer/Scanner Repair Guide

Printers should be hassle-free, but sometimes they can be confusing. This guide will help you gain knowledge of them and make it easier to operate.

How to connect to the internet:Go to the settings page on the printer. Look for 'connectivity' of 'wi-fi' settings. Once found, find the preferred wi-fi to connect to and enter the password for the printer. Once done, this should connect automatically when the printer turns on. Another method is to connect to ethernet directly from the printer to the telephone/ethernet port to the wall.

How to change and dispose of printer ink properly:To replace the printer ink, get the right colour cartrigde near you. Turn on the printer and wait for all the printer operations to stop before continuing. Install the printer ink using the correct method. The manual or side panel will show you instructions. Place it inthe right slot.

How to print a test page:A test page shows if the nozzle is working on the printer as well as seeing if the colours print in line and as expected. To print a test page, go to your computer and go to 'settings', find 'view printer & devices' and right click. Select 'printer properties'. This should show a menu which should show a button at the bottom saying 'test print page'. This should send a test page to the printer.
