{"panels":[{"content":{"params":{"text":"<p><strong>Alice De Angeli, Senior Learning Designer at UWTSD:<\/strong> Hello, and welcome to&nbsp;<em>Getting Started with Moodle<\/em>.<\/p><p>Moodle is UWTSD\u2019s virtual learning environment, or VLE, a platform designed to support the delivery of a variety of teaching and learning materials and activities.<\/p><p>Whether you\u2019re completely new to Moodle, have experience of a different VLE, or are simply looking to improve your existing Moodle pages, you\u2019re in the right place.<\/p><p>Throughout this course, you\u2019ll learn how to build a well-structured page for your module, add a variety of content and activities, and use tools that support student engagement, communication, assessment and progress tracking. Everything we cover is aligned with the University\u2019s VLE Baseline Standards, helping you create a consistent and positive experience for your students.<\/p><p>We designed this course to be practical. We\u2019ll guide you through short, hands-on tasks, so you can apply what you\u2019re learning straight away.<\/p><p>By the end of the course, you\u2019ll be able to navigate Moodle confidently, structure your pages clearly, and use key features like quizzes and forums.
