Our Foundation
M.I.Y.W began in one of the most unlikely places—Antarctica. In 2005, a team of international scientists stationed at the Kerguelen islands faced a critical challenge. The extreme isolation and harsh conditions of the frigid island highlighted the need for advanced, durable, and portable medical tools capable of functioning in the world's toughest environments. Despite the extreme conditions the team pooled their expertise to create improvised solutions for medical emergencies.
