# Cloud Web App Docker Project

This project demonstrates a simple Docker-based web server using Nginx.
It matches the Dockerfile implementation described in the Cloud Engineering report.

## Files

- `Dockerfile` - Builds a custom Nginx image.
- `index.html` - Static web page served by Nginx.

## Build the Docker image

```bash
docker build -t cloud-web-app .
```

## Run the container

```bash
docker run -d -p 8080:80 cloud-web-app
```

## View the application

Open your browser and visit:

```text
http://localhost:8080
```

## Optional: Push to DockerHub

Replace `username` with your DockerHub username:

```bash
docker tag cloud-web-app username/cloud-web-app:1.0
docker push username/cloud-web-app:1.0
```
