Proactive thinking is always reliable and is for long term, people who are proactive, used to think about the unexpected unwanted circumstances to avoid future risks (Bar, 2007). Not only circumstances or unwanted events but also their solutions. Individuals who are proactive know that they have been "responsible." Individuals do not excuse their actions on events, surroundings, or predisposition. People are aware that they have control over their actions. Reactive persons, as compare to the proactive are opposite and are frequently influenced by the surroundings. Such Individuals look for other reasons to put a blame on the circumstances and surroundings for their actions. They enjoy themselves when the weather is pleasant. Their mood is dependent on the surroundings. Most of such various influences are triggers to which we react. The ultimate advantage is among the trigger and the response—we do posses the ability to pick and react. It does not matter what one says, it only maters what they do (Weller, Boyd, & Cumin, 2014). Blog 2 Active listening There are many abilities that are really important and effective for people in any kind of profession or even in personal life. Among these crucial abilities you must develop the ability to listen. However as much effectively you listen, it does have a significant influence on overall work performance and the strength of overall interpersonal interactions. Consider the following example; You listen in order to get knowledge, you listen to have fun, you listen in order to comprehend, you listen in order to hear and gain what you do not have (MacLean, Kelly, Geddes, & Della, 2017). Considering how much listening you practice, once you start practice this exercise you might figure that you will become an experts at listening. But in reality the theory of Edgar Dale's Cone, we are not good listeners, not all but majority. And on the basis of this analysis it shows that we only recall about 25 percent of the overall and 50 percent of the total number of just what we listen. It implies that if you chat to your employer, coworkers, clients, or partner for 15 minutes, they will only listen to around 1/2 of what you say (Mullan & Kothe, 2010). Blog 3 Team work Although Albert Einstein is credited for inventing the theory of relativity. When we look at the real facts behind is are that he also refined his notion via discussions with his peers, friends and family. The alone person is nothing when it comes to something big to achieve. "Many individuals believe that achievement originates from spreading oneself with individuals who are similar to them," Johansson explains. "However, great achievement and groundbreaking invention necessitate suffering. Dissatisfaction forces us to develop (MacLean, Kelly, Geddes, & Della, 2017). Differences in expertise, viewpoint, and perception enter the picture at this point. "Every brilliance has a team supporting them," Murphy adds. "Whenever individuals combine their abilities and expertise, they may come up with meaningful and beneficial ideas." "Diversification is the highly admirable approach to acquiring unique perspectives, conquering significant constraints, and unleashing innovative possibilities. (Clements, Dault, & Priest, 2007)" "Any particular team member could develop by facilitating and communicating and basically educating each other," adds Murphy. Although there is no 'I' when one focus on the word 'Team'. if one is working together with a lot of people of a big project anyone of that team is responsible to help the other who is in need, these is no self, or no individuality to show off being a dignified member of team (Salas, Sims, & Burke, 2005). One could learn fresh ideas from coworkers who have various backgrounds. One may indeed benefit from other people’s blunders, which could also assist individuals to avoid making the same flaws in the future. Blog 4 Critical thinking Critical thinking may be characterized as the capacity to examine critically and independently. Someone who is capable of critical thinking can assess the significance and applicability of reasoning and concepts; recognize the connections across concepts; can be able to identify, construct, and evaluate alternatives. The critical thinker can also recognize inefficiencies and logical mistakes (Weller, Boyd, & Cumin, 2014). Also he/ she can consistently and methodically address difficulties. It is very easy for a critical thinker to consider the reasons toward your personal attitudes, views, and ethics. Recognizing the conceptual relationship underlying concepts, logically. Although looking back at the era of ancient Greek thinkers and philosophers like Aristotle, critical thinking was always remained the matter of considerable controversy and analysis, and it has continues to become a topic of controversy further into contemporary period, for instance, the capacity to identify disinformation (Parker, Bindl, & Strauss, 2010). Monitoring, assessment, comprehension, introspection, evaluation, reasoning, justification, creative thinking, and strategic planning are just a few of the abilities required to think critically. You must be aware of the following in particular: • Determine so many viewpoints that exist in respect to a specific problem. • Consider a problem or subject objectively and critically. • Consider the potential ramifications of a remark or debate. • Assess the strength or validity of a perspective by evaluating it. • Recognize potential flaws or unfavorable aspects of the information or reasoning. • Present systematic rationale and evidence in favor of a position you want to take (Staib, 2003). Blog 5 Resilient Resilient is to be strong enough to hold and survive in the hard times and being resilience refers to the recovering and overcome rapidly after a setback. Flexibility, endurance, and persistence are all attributes that make someone resilient. Whenever unpleasant feelings such as dissatisfaction and shame occur, grow intrigued regarding them. Our capacity to stay calm through suffering helps us become more resilient. Choose a relaxation techniques from the Calming Emotional responses Program which users like (Herrman et al., 2011). Accept obstacles as chances for personal development. Once you are faced with difficulty, question yourself, “why and how can i overcome all this?" or something like "what will this give to me? Once you are faced with difficulty, question yourself, “why and how can I overcome all this?" "How can I give this experience meaning?" Create a supportive system of peers, relatives, and medical professionals to whom you may turn for help whenever you require it. People are not supposed to face existence’s difficulties individually. Recognize the instability of reality as a practice. "So how would I cope with life's modifications?" you might wonder (Herrman et al., 2011). Blog 6 Productivity Achieving the maximum outcome (or profit) from the inputs is ultimately the goal, regardless you are talking about individual performance or company performance. In the context of a company, input might refer to investment, resources, or labor costs. Individuals consider involvement with time, energy, and devotion (Booth & Zemmel, 2004). Worker motivation is an important aspect of productivity growth, and becoming encouraged and energized helps you be more productive. On an individual and organizational basis, there are numerous approaches to encourage inspiration and enhance productivity. There are a variety of individual productivity tactics which may help you accomplish more work per day with the same efficiency and accuracy. Among the most well-known are: • Making use of the Pomodoro method, breaking tasks into twenty five minutes with five minutes rest (Booth & Zemmel, 2004). • Creating a rejuvenating early ritual. • Taking enormous undertakings and dividing them down into lesser tasks. • Keeping your tasks list focused on the urgent and most critical items • Gamification may be used by companies to encourage and inspire its workforce. It was the most productive class that gives real and crucial insights on health research; illness developments and chronic diseases, therapeutic strategies or wellbeing promotion actions, professional competence, care practices, and government expenditures and utilization. The 30 credit hours were all justified as the course had many diverse aspects to cover. Joanna’s Induction Class: Another impressive sessions which were in this course which was beneficial for learning and implementing induction effectively in frontline services. It is an important element in delivering superior treatment and assistance. We have learned several tools like how to accomplish the appropriate standards of healthcare practices with competency and demonstrate a willingness to practices which encourage diversification and liberation. Amanda’s Induction Class: During this course, the practical challenges of nursing and healthcare services were addressed, like nurses have almost no flexibility to enhance their education while establishing the field of proficient medical services. Healthcare education system will not provide students with the greatest up-to-date information and statistics in the domain of nursing if they do not upgrade their education and knowledge. WhatsApp Discussion: the significance of WhatsApp discussion plays an important role in education nowadays when everything depends on digital platforms. It is the most easiest way to interact and share any useful knowledge via WhatsApp. The group discussions on the virtual world are no more dependent on skype or other old platforms. WhatsApp provides all kind of advantages like conference calls made our discussions free from hassle and everyone could equally participate in it. Video and audio calls were also a part of our educational requirements, helping friends and teaching them on the WhatsApp would also in our hands. Meetup with classmates: Meetup sessions were no less than a blessing. Although our teachers were all enough for us but we students also needs some time to learn in a free environment because in front of teachers some students stay reserved for not communicating well or they may hesitate to ask more questions. So these meetup sessions helped us to develop our interaction and communication skills. Part 3 REFLECTION AND ACADEMIC INTERVIEW: Throughout this course I have learned and experience many new things that has increased my knowledge, not only in the nursing and health care sector but also in the other self development skills that essentially molded my personality form the past to the present improved version of myself. In future I will be able to apply all these experiences, skills and knowledge to the fullest into my workplace. I will benefit the society with whatever the good I have earned. Previously, I used to work as a fast food waiter in a restaurant and also have experience in cuisine services. I have also learned from it as well, although my future profession will be totally different from it but the most common thing that is needed in both of these professions or in any profession is the kindness, being a future health care assistant or nurse I will need this quality as my personal trait and being a professional the communication and interaction skills I possess will also help me standout in the workplace. My another strength is that I am an empath and have a kind heart that automatically feels and care for all. We all are full of flaws and we are what our weaknesses and failures makes us, but we have to extract the best lesson that is taught by the weak times or failures, one that that I will call my biggest weakness is that I take more time to focus and concentrate while accomplishing sand achieving something big or difficult. Another factor is the procrastination, procrastination is also is the biggest obstacle whenever I needed to get myself involved in a task. I couldn’t complete at time. But somehow, I have learned some of the transferrable skills like time management, to overcome my weaknesses in the long-term. Successful planning abilities are the basis of effective time management (Bramhall, 2012). Whenever I do not have a proper strategy about which duties I need to perform at time, it is difficult to organize my day or a whole week. So my initial step to improve my planning is to improve the time management skills. Obviously, it required a lot of practice, sometimes a day goes exactly as planned, but a long term plan really helped me to assess and achieve my goals and helped me to avoid getting off track. Whatever I have learned and practiced in this course is definitely going to help me in future, according to my nature I can foresee my future in the workplace as a suitable person. To illustrate this I am going to explain with the example, I must have to confess that I cried a few times whenever I watched any film, or series like that. The one movie that I remember really touched my heart and have a sedative impact on me. The film helped me understand how significant we are for our society and people, we, as nursing assistants, we have some responsibilities and impacts on the lives of our patients (Chase et al., 2012). One of the purposes of medical and healthcare assistants like nurses, we have to give psychological and mental assistance so that the patient and we are bound to educate and assist them regarding their queries about the health (Arnold & Boggs. 2016). The general practitioner in this film did not show compassion; he utilized professional vocabulary while reporting the clinical assessment, and then while discussing therapy, he would not incorporate the sufferer in the decision-making process. The patient was perplexed and resented because they were not comfortable to ask queries to the doctors (Bramhall, 2012). Poster: References 1. Bar, M. (2007).
