00:00:00.967 --> 00:00:02.736
Another flatmate of mine,
who I'd had problems

00:00:02.736 --> 00:00:06.172
with before, came to the flat
and brought her dog along.

00:00:06.272 --> 00:00:09.476
We naturally went to the dog, petted it
and looked at it.

00:00:09.542 --> 00:00:13.480
All of a sudden the dog started
barking at us, barking at me specifically.

00:00:13.546 --> 00:00:14.414
Next thing you know, she

00:00:14.414 --> 00:00:18.618
I herd her joke to the side saying
that the dog doesn't like black people.

00:00:18.718 --> 00:00:21.121
Now, I was
in complete shock at that moment in time,

00:00:21.121 --> 00:00:23.523
and I was too embarrassed to say anything
either.

00:00:23.523 --> 00:00:27.227
Everyone around me was too embarrassed
or didn't even say anything either.

00:00:27.327 --> 00:00:30.597
So later
on, after I had time to process it all,

00:00:30.663 --> 00:00:35.001
I pulled her to the side and I addressed it
to let her know what she'd said.

00:00:35.101 --> 00:00:37.037
She said that
she didn't remember what she'd said,

00:00:37.037 --> 00:00:40.974
but then she apologised anyway.
