The making of roman army from republic to empire

Looking at the table of contents, the index and publication of this book I believe the book will show the basic, advanced and transformation of Rome and the Roman army, the movement and warfare of Caesar in Gaul and the build-up to civil war. Reading through the index its clear to me this book has a very wide spread of information from inspirational leaders like Alexander the Great to worshiped gods, Fortuna, Mars and Apollo. I can see clearly the book goes into detail to different locations such as Gaul and Britany. The author Lawrence Keppie is a Roman history and archaeology Professor at the Hunterian Museum, University of Glasgow.
