The Maps

There are four total maps in Apex Legends, I will go over each one and give a little description as to why the maps turned into what they are now.

Kings Canyon

Kings Canyon was the first map introduced with the launch of Apex Legends. The Place was a run down settlement and didnt become the place it did today untill the IMC chose to ahve the place for their research facility.

World's Edge

World's Edge was the second map released. This place was also another planet that was fine on its own but was a little run down until the IMC decided that they wanted a rare mineral on the planet so they set up on the planet to mine the material.

Olympus

Olympus was the third map released. The city was a futuristic floating city untill an experimental facility had an accident causing a huge phase rift to open in the sky which drove mostly everyone out of the city.

Storm Point

Storm Point was the fourth map to be released. Once again this was a island that was left alone until the IMC showed up and decided to start expedtions exploring the island, however that didnt last for long as the island was prone to storms and many creatures inhabitited the island so the IMC left.
