{"panels":[{"content":{"params":{"text":"<p>In this video, I\u2019ll show you how to add video or audio content using the <em>Panopto Video<\/em> activity.<\/p><p>First, make sure <em>Edit mode<\/em> is turned on using the toggle at the top of your course page. Then, go to where you want your link to appear, select the plus sign (+) and choose <em>Activity or resource<\/em>. From the list, choose <em>Panopto Video<\/em> and select <em>Add<\/em>.<\/p><p>You now have two options.<\/p><p><strong>Display a specific video or audio clip<\/strong><\/p><p>To display a specific video or audio clip, choose <em>Select content<\/em>. This opens a dialogue window. Because Panopto videos can be graded, you\u2019ll be asked whether you want to enable grading (for example, if the video includes a quiz). Choose <em>Do not grade this video<\/em> if you only want to display the video. Then, you have the option to select an existing recording, upload new content, or record via Panopto Capture or the Panopto desktop application.<\/p><p>Under <em>Activity name<\/em>, give it a clear title and add a description in the box below. You can then choose:<\/p><ul><li><em>Display description on course page<\/em>: this shows the description within the section. We recommend it for short text.<\/li><li><em>Display activity description when students access the tool<\/em>: this shows the description after they select the link. Use this for longer text.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Link to your module\u2019s Panopto folder<\/strong><\/p><p>If you want to link to your module\u2019s Panopto folder, ignore <em>Select content<\/em>, and simply provide a name and description. For example: \u201cLecture recordings \u2013 Here you\u2019ll find all lecture recordings for this module. I will add the new recording every week\u201d.<\/p><p>When you are done, select <em>Save and return to course<\/em>.
