They were also greatful enough to donate £250 towards a new Standard and Ensign for the squadron, which will be purchased in the coming weeks. A massive thank you to those in the association that came down last night and to those who couldn't make it for their kind donation.
Another weekend, and another sqn activity. This weekend saw cadets from 2420 sqn assisting 215 sqn in collecting before the Wales v South Africa match at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Last Wing Parade of 2018 - Great seeing so many attend
Last night saw 2420 Sqn host colleagues from Pembroke, Tenby and Haverfordwest for a visit from Higher Officer Andrew James from the UK Border Force. Based at Pembroke Port, he gave the cadets a fantastic insight into the work of UKBF and his career. Plenty of questions kept Andrew busy, and advice on how we can help them keep our coastline safe. The night rounded off with a detailed look at a collection of (sealed) seized drugs. A great evening showing sector working and cadets working together. Thanks to Andrew for his time..
