Dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality healthcare since 2009
HealthFirst Medical Centre was founded in 2009 by Dr Sarah Mitchell with a clear and simple vision: to create an accessible, patient-focused primary care practice in central London where every individual feels heard, respected, and cared for. Starting with a small team of three clinicians operating from a single consultation room on Harley Street, the practice has grown steadily over the past fifteen years to become one of the most trusted GP clinics in the Marylebone area.
Today, the clinic serves over 8,000 registered patients and provides a broad spectrum of healthcare services ranging from routine GP consultations and annual flu vaccinations to specialist physiotherapy, mental health support, and in-house minor surgical procedures. Our practice is fully registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is fully compliant with NHS clinical governance standards.
To provide accessible, compassionate, and evidence-based healthcare that empowers every patient to take control of their wellbeing, regardless of background, circumstance, or ability.
Everything we do at HealthFirst is guided by five core values: Patient First, Clinical Excellence, Integrity, Inclusivity, and Continuous Improvement. We believe that outstanding healthcare is built on trust, and that trust is earned through consistent, transparent, and respectful communication with every patient we treat.
We actively promote a diverse and inclusive environment for both our patients and our staff. We are proud to serve one of London's most multicultural communities, and several members of our clinical team speak languages in addition to English, including French, Yoruba, Punjabi, and Mandarin.
Patient safety is at the heart of everything we do. We follow the latest NICE clinical guidelines, participate in annual clinical audits, and ensure that all clinical staff hold up-to-date enhanced DBS checks and maintain their professional development requirements through their respective regulatory bodies, including the General Medical Council (GMC) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Our experienced clinicians bring together decades of combined expertise across a diverse range of medical specialisms.
