In 2001, Liverpool won more silverware by winning the FA cup, where they beat Arsenal 2-1. Gerard Houllier's Liverpool were part of a very close game where they were behind but some brilliant goals from Michael Owen give the reds the lead and the trophy
2003
2 years later Liverpool won the league cup where academy youngsters then, now club legends Steven Gerrard and Michael Owen got a goal each to secure the cup against rivals Manchester United
2005
Istanbul, a memory that every fan will hold in their heart dearly, as Liverpool added a fifth european trophy into the cabinet, the men in red were losinf 3-0 at half time but a miracle second half saw them level before winning on penalties

In 2006, Liverpool lifted the FA cup against westham in Welsh capital Cardiff as Captain and club legend Steven Gerrard scored 2 of their 3 goals of the game

The reds had a six year trophy absense but ended it in 2012 where they won a penalty shootout in Cardiff to win the league cup on a penalty shootout
