We suggest that you follow these quick guides to keep your ukulele playing sweet!
We suggest that you don't store your ukulele in a dark damp place as this could affect the playing of the ukulele.
You could also keep your ukulele safe by keeping it stored in a case when it's not in use.
By using a lint free cloth to give your ukulele a wipe down after you have used it means that the ukulele will be free from natural dirt and sweat. This is important for ensuring that the ukulele stays in mint condition. Without doing this could mean that the ukulele could become sticky.
If you are planning on using a fine wirewool to clean the fretboard you should remove string and use masking tape to cover any areas you don't want scratched! Use the wirewool to rub over the ukulele to get rid of any build up. Optional: You can then use some fretboard oil to smooth over the ukulele to have a nice finish.
After this you can then wipe over with the wirewool again and lastly use a soft cloth to get rid of any excess.
When you are ready to take your music to the public it is highly adviced that you use a suitable case to keep your ukulele safe! Athough using hard and padded causes do have their pros and cons I would highly suggest one of these as they will provide the best support for the ukuelele. note: You should still take extreme care of your instrument even when keeping it in cases.
