Rescues
Around 130,000 dogs are estimated to enter UK welfare organisations such as re-homing centres each year [1]. In their time of need, we expect those animals to receive the best possible care, and thankfully the vast majority do. Some of us have also had experience of working at an animal rescue centre, and we can appreciate the amazing work that they do. It is invaluable and a testament to the passion that those working in the field have for animal welfare that a great many do so voluntarily.
