Since 1979, John Purton has been dedicated to performance and quality through hard work, innovation, and originality. Over the last 38 years, JP Surfboards has grown from a local grass-roots operation to a cutting edge organization, catering to the best surfers in the EU. It started with hard-core surfing and quality in mind and these guidelines have brought us through four decades of constant change in the surf industry.

The boards John Purton produces are designed to give the rider more freedom in the waves by tailoring each shape to fit the particular style they may have or the kind of waves they surf. Width, volume, rocker, tail shape, rail shape, fins, concaves, it all counts, and small changes can make all the difference.

Our new factory outlet for 2017 holds a large range of stock JP Surfboards and can be found downstairs at our Swansea factory at Unit 7A, Crofty Industrial Estate, Penclawdd, Swansea SA4 3RS.

We will be on hand to give advice on our range of boards and talk you through various options. Custom orders can be taken at our factory and we also have a large range of Fins, Deck, grip, leashes and accessories. If you’re after a custom shaped surfboard then this is the place to be. We can give you expert advice and talk you through our board designs to make sure you get the right tool for the job and exactly what you want.
