by Laura James.

Thank you all for your contributions to this week's activities. It has been great to see the level of engagement and the range of ideas shared across the discussions. There were some excellent suggestions for managing procrastination, particularly around creating realistic study timetables, breaking tasks into smaller chunks, and setting achievable goals.

If you would like further ideas on creating an effective study timetable, there are lots of useful resources available online. Websites such as Student Minds, Prospects, and various university study skills pages provide practical templates and tips that you may find helpful.

A particular well done for engaging with the referencing activity. Referencing can be challenging and I noticed that there are still some minor APA errors in a few submissions. Please do not worry, this is completely normal and develops with practice. Continue to use the APA guidance available within the module and take time to check your citations and reference lists carefully. The more you practise, the more confident and accurate you will become.

One final point is to try to avoid relying on generative AI when completing these weekly activities. While AI can seem like a quick solution, the real value of these tasks comes from you actively thinking about the concepts, applying them to your own context, and developing your academic skills. Engaging directly with the activities helps embed your learning, strengthens your critical thinking, and better prepares you for your assessments.

Thank you again for your efforts this week. Keep up the excellent work, and I look forward to reading your contributions in the coming weeks.

by Florin Floria.

I remember a time when I went to a sports activity with other people. I noticed that one person was standing alone and did not take part in the activity.

I decided to go and talk to them. I asked if they wanted to join us. At first, they seemed shy, but after a few minutes, they started to feel more comfortable.

We worked together and helped each other during the activity. Everyone was friendly and respectful, and nobody was left out.

I felt happy because I helped someone feel welcome. This experience showed me that small actions can make a big difference.

I learned that inclusion means treating everyone equally and giving people the chance to take part. In the future, I will try to be kind and make sure that everyone feels accepted and respected.

by Florin Floria.

1. Use it as a pot for flowers or plants.
2. Make a feeder for birds.
3. Turn it into a watering bottle by making holes in the cap.
4. Use it as a funnel for liquids.
5. Keep small things like buttons or screws inside.
6. Make a holder for pencils and pens.
7. Use it to scoop food for pets.
8. Create a mini greenhouse for young plants.
9. Use it to hold homemade decorations.
10. Make a piggy bank to save money.
11. Build a small house for birds.
12. Store art and craft supplies in it.
13. Make a sensory bottle for children.
14. Create a garden sprinkler.
15. Collect rainwater in it.
16. Turn it into a vase for flowers.
17. Make a spinning decoration for the garden.
18. Store small items when travelling.
19. Use it as a scoop for gardening.
20. Create an art project with recycled materials.

The ideas that surprised me the most were making a bird feeder and a mini greenhouse from a plastic bottle. I normally think of plastic bottles as rubbish, but this activity showed me that they can be used in many different ways.

I think the best idea is using plastic bottles as pots for flowers, herbs and vegetables. It is cheap, simple and useful for people at home. It also helps reduce waste and protect the environment.

I learned that divergent thinking means finding different ideas and looking at things in new ways. This activity helped me become more creative and think about ideas I had not considered before.
