by Ruth Parkes.

Dear all

Based on what works for the majority, classes will run on Thursdays at 4-5pm. Apologies to those for whom this slot does not work: classes will be recorded. the first class will be on the 8th October. Please make sure you have copies of the Jones and Sidwell and have read the glossary of grammatical terms

best

by Tim Rowlands.

Hello, I’m a semi retired surgeon, and I still have some activities on a floating basis. Anytime on Thursday works best for me. I could probably attend most of the sessions other than Wednesday mornings, which is my regular teaching clinic. I am quite used to working live and by recording, having done a few certificates this way previously. I am really looking forward to the course, and meeting you, though I have not used the JACT books before. We are up to book 5 of the Cambridge Latin course at my local U3A club, and I have done some spoken courses with the Oxford Latinitas group, with varying success. Many thanks.

by Ruth Parkes.

Dear all

Welcome to Intensive Latin 1, semester 1 2026-7! Classes will start the week beginning the 5th October. Please make sure you have acquired the required Jones and Sidwell (second edition).

Please could people individually email me (r.parkes@uwtsd.ac.uk) with times that they cannot do normally on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 8am and 6pm. I will try ensure that the class time is one that the majority can do (but the class will be recorded anyway)

best
