by Fruzsina Valoczki.

To me, International Business means doing business across national borders. It includes activities such as importing and exporting goods and services, international investment, and working with businesses or customers from other countries. According to Premarathna (2020), international business involves cross-border exchanges of goods, services, people and other resources. However, I think International Business is about more than simply selling products in another country. Minoja, Kocollari and Cavicchioli (2022) highlight that businesses must understand cultural and legal differences and customer expectations when operating internationally. My definition of International Business is therefore conducting business across borders while adapting to different markets and business environments. This definition works for me because it shows that international business involves both economic activities and understanding people and their cultures. In my opinion, this ability to adapt is one of the most important parts of doing business internationally.
