Some people have been in touch regarding final word count.

Part 1- is equivalent to 500 words. As this is a table it may be a little less or more, but should be concise and helpful as your study timetable.

Part 2- prompts and example of output will depend on what you put in- as noted in tutorial this will be approx. 300 words but may vary depending on Copilot and the prompts you choose to include, so there is some flexibility here.

However in Part 2- the 300 words discussion and 400 reflection should follow the word count correctly (+/10%)

Part 3 Poster is 500 words (+/-10%)

Remember part 4 voice over is 5 minutes (+/-10%) (and is equivalent to the remainder of words).

Altogether the 4 parts will be equivalent in work and effort to 3000 words, but due to part 4 being a presentation, part 1-3 will be less than 3000 words, as the part 4 is the remainder of oral words which will be included.

Good evening Daniela, Use the AI declaration for components 1,3 and 4. However, if you do use AI to help you format the 300/400 word sections of the portfolio, then the prompts you use here will need to be included in the declaration.
If you have not used AI for components 1,3 and 4, you can use the statement "No AI was used for this assignment."

Whether you've used AI or not, you should always note that you have kept all notes/drafts (just in case they're needed in the future).

Good afternoon,

For the AI declaration section of the first assignment, do we need to include the prompts we used in Part 2, where we were specifically required to use Copilot, or only any additional AI use beyond that task?

If AI was not used for anything else, how should we complete the declaration form?
