by Helen Evans.

Your points give a strong and clear overview of how technology, HR practice, and organisational culture work together to drive productivity. You highlight well that tools alone are not enough and areas are equally important. How did you find the Podcast?

by Melania Kolozsi.

1. Technology can make individual jobs more efficient, but productivity improvements only happen when tools are used in workflows, skills are developed, priorities are clear, and leadership is good.

2. HR and the people profession are very important for finding hidden productivity bottlenecks by looking at role clarity, competency gaps, workload constraints, leadership behaviours, and employee engagement.

3. Instead of only looking at hours worked or activity levels, organisations can get a better idea of productivity by tying individual and team outcomes to organisational goals.

4. Talent management solutions make individuals more productive by making sure that the proper people are trained and ready for future jobs.

5. Better work design, excellent leadership skills, and a supportive organisational culture all boost productivity by making things clearer, building trust, improving health, and encouraging teamwork. Employees who know what is expected of them and feel supported are more likely to be engaged, do their jobs well, and stay with the company.

6. HR can find productivity concerns and make decisions about the staff by looking at data on skills gaps, performance patterns, and turnover. Insights based on data allow for focused development, better use of resources, and proactive actions that boost both employee performance and the productivity of the whole organisation.
