My name is Mădălina and I’m looking forward to studying this module. One thing about me is that I enjoy learning about different cultures and how the world is becoming more connected.

What I am most looking forward to in this module is gaining a better understanding of globalisation and how it affects societies, economies, and everyday life. I think this knowledge will be very useful for my future studies and career.

Hi everyone, apologies for my late participation.

My name is Michael, though most people call me Mike. I am 36 years old and live in Swansea with my partner and our two sons Cellan who is 7 and Caio who is 1.

I currently work as a landscape gardener, which is a very physical job. One thing about me is that I enjoy practical, hands on work and being outdoors, but I am now looking to develop my knowledge so I can eventually work for myself and run my own business.

I am really looking forward to learning more about social enterprise management and gaining the tools and skills needed to start and manage a business in a sustainable and community focused way.

The part I feel I will find most challenging is getting back into education, as I have been out of formal learning for a long time. However, I am motivated to learn and looking forward to developing my confidence as the course progresses.
