- Q: Who is on the MBA team?
- A: The MBA programme manager in Carmarthen Campus is Helen Evans, and the one in Swansea Campus is Marie Pitson. Our Admissions Co-ordinator and Dissertation Module Co-ordinator is Anthony Burns.
- Q: What’s the pass mark for a module?
- A: The pass mark is 50%. If you don’t pass, you’ll have one opportunity to resit (new task) or rework (revise the same task), depending on the situation.
- Q: What happens if you miss a deadline?
- A: Work submitted up to 1 week late is capped at 50%.
- Q: How do you report Extenuating Circumstances?
- A: If you have serious circumstances, submit an Extenuating Circumstances Form with evidence. You can apply for Extenuating Circumstances on MyTSD (under ‘Data Changes’), up to 3 weeks after the assignment deadline.
- Q: What is Academic Misconduct, and how is it handled?
- A: Breaches of Academic Integrity are called Academic Misconduct. The best thing is not copy/paste from any source, unless you have clearly identified that you are doing this. Also, always provide references to the sources of information you have used. Academic Misconduct is handled under the University's Academic Misconduct Policy.
