My contact email address is: m.thomas1@uwtsd.ac.uk The assessments for this module comprise of: Role Play - RTC's (March 2026) 2 hour examination (May 2026) During this programme we are going to explore the basic principles of Road Traffic Legislation, Attendance at RTC's JESIP and a re visit of basic offences, searching and investigations. There are a number of essential and recommended materials within your reading list, but you are expected to remain up to date with current events within the news relation to these areas, IOPC investigations and recommendations for police and other agencies, including any instructions from the Home Office or Home Secretary, to maintain a current knowledge of the College of Policing material and JESIP guidance. Please do try to make every effort to attend all of the lectures as much of the learning will come not only from your reading but classroom discussions, case exercises, role plays and site visits and guest speaker.
