https://moodle.uwtsd.ac.uk/mod/forum/view.php?f=26603 Dear Students of Knowledge, Reason and Reality Welcome to the module. It's good to have you on the course. My name is Rebekah and I am the module tutor. You should by now be enrolled on the module and have access to the materials on the Moodle page. Please make yourself familiar with session 1 lecture, and start the reading. Meanwhile, a welcome meeting is being arranged for Monday 5 October 2026, 12:00 - 13:00 (GMT), via Teams. (You will receive links in due course. The plan is to have all webinars on a Monday at this time. If that is going to be a problem, just let me know. I will record all sessions but I would appreciate it if you could let me know if you cannot attend.) It will be an opportunity to meet each other and introduce ourselves. I will also answer any questions you might have about the course, as well as provide a short introductory talk on session one. I look forward to seeing you next week. But any questions, just email me at r.humphreys@uwtsd.ac.uk. Best wishes Rebekah Moodle en (c) 2026 UWTSD Moodle https://moodle.uwtsd.ac.uk/theme/image.php/learnr/core/1787060987/i/rsssitelogo https://moodle.uwtsd.ac.uk 140 35 https://moodle.uwtsd.ac.uk/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=142138&parent=230910 Mon, 12 Oct 2026 13:38:52 GMT by Rebekah Humphreys.

For next week, please read Plato's Republic Books 5 and 7.

https://moodle.uwtsd.ac.uk/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=142138&parent=230910 https://moodle.uwtsd.ac.uk/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=142137&parent=230909 Mon, 12 Oct 2026 13:38:04 GMT by Rebekah Humphreys.

WELCOME MEETING - Knowledge, Reason and Reality, 5 Oct, 2026, semester 1, 1200 - 1300 (GMT)-20261005_120558-Meeting Recording.mp4

https://moodle.uwtsd.ac.uk/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=142137&parent=230909 https://moodle.uwtsd.ac.uk/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=141203&parent=229722 Tue, 06 Oct 2026 19:50:36 GMT by Rebekah Humphreys.

Exemplar annotated bibliography can now be found on Moodle page

https://moodle.uwtsd.ac.uk/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=141203&parent=229722
