Good morning,

This email is just to welcome you to year three of your studies at UWTSD which are due to commence on 25^th September 2025 and to wish you every success on the next year of your Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship Journey.

For those who do not know me, I am Melanie, and I shall be supporting you through your workbook submissions and running through a drop in each week which will from the 1.10.25 be moving to 1100hrs each Friday for PCDA Workbook 3 and DHEP workbook 2 (new link will be posted on moodle towards the end of September).

My colleague Jane Davies (Programme manager) is in charge of the dissertations and dissertation supervisors and will managing the programme and guiding you through that side of your journey.

In order to ensure that we have a smooth road ahead could I please ask all of you to enrol for your next year of study, those who usually submit applications for differentiated deadlines ensure that you engage with student support so that these are in place and once enrolled all check that you have access to moodle, both to your study pages and reading lists and the turn it in tile for your submissions.

I would encourage all to attend the drop ins, read the provided material and information, undertake further and wider reading and revisit study skill tiles and the facilities provided by UWTSD library.
