This research uses deductive reasoning, which begins with an existing theory and tests it in a real-life situation. The theory states that physical activity can help reduce stress. Based on this idea, the hypothesis states that older adults who exercise regularly will experience lower stress levels. Stress levels will be measured before and after a short exercise program. If the levels decrease, the hypothesis will be supported.
