by Meskerem Beyene.

Topic: The Effect of Physical Activity on Reducing Stress in Older Adults

This research uses deductive reasoning, which begins with an existing theory and tests it in a real-life situation. The theory states that physical activity can help reduce stress. Based on this idea, the hypothesis states that older adults who exercise regularly will experience lower stress levels. Stress levels will be measured before and after a short exercise program. If the levels decrease, the hypothesis will be supported.

by Meskerem Beyene.

Topic: Social Interaction and Anxiety Levels in Children with Autism

Inductive reasoning in health and social care starts with specific observations and then forms a general conclusion. For example, children with autism who take part in more social activities often appear calmer and less anxious. By observing and recording their interactions and anxiety levels, patterns can be found. These patterns may suggest that social interaction helps reduce anxiety in children with autism

Topic: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Access to Health and Social Care Services

Research Question:
What challenges do parents face when accessing health and social care services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?

Research Method:
A mixed-methods approach will be used.

Qualitative: Semi-structured interviews with parents to explore their experiences and difficulties in accessing services.

Quantitative: A short survey to collect data on how common these challenges are.

Sample Size:

10–15 parents will take part in interviews to provide detailed experiences.

40–50 parents will complete the survey to give broader information about common challenges.

Summary:
This research aims to understand the barriers parents face when trying to access support services for children with ASD. Using both interviews and surveys will help gather detailed experiences and identify common challenges, which may help improve health and social care services
