3 steps to to achieve my goal

My goal is to work in Children's health care, because working with children makes me smile. Learning Health care in children services will allow me to show my authenticity as a caring person. 1st steps shadowing/volunteering, 2nd to develop my communication/listening skills, and applying for the role after my BSc course.

My Career goal

At the moment, I am developing my knowledge and understanding of Health and Social Care through the modules that I am still studying. I have learned about areas such as communication, safeguarding, equality and diversity, human development, and the importance of providing person-centred care. These topics have helped me understand the needs of different individuals and the responsibilities of health and social care professionals. I have also developed an interest in leadership, teamwork, and working under pressure, which are important skills for a career in ambulance services.

My long-term goal is to progress into a Senior Manager position within the Ambulance Services. In this role, I would like to lead and support staff, help manage ambulance operations, make important decisions, and ensure that patients receive a high standard of care. I would also like to contribute to improving services and supporting staff to work effectively as a team.

To achieve my career goal, I will continue to work hard in my Health and Social Care studies and develop my knowledge and skills. I will focus on improving my communication, leadership, teamwork, decision-making, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

My career goal is to be an occupational therapist

Three steps to achieving my career goal ;

prepare and qualify by completing my BSc and applying for a master’s degree in Occupational therapy. (Gain relevant experience through volunteering
Train and graduate , by completing my master’s as well as doing at least 1000 hours of clinical placement
Thirdly practice, specialise and grow as well as securing a permanent OT position
