by Marie France Aurelie Bodo Bodo.

Innovation improves healthcare by enhancing diagnostic accuracy, speeding up treatment delivery, lowering costs, and shifting care from reactive hospitals into homes and communities.

-Tools like artificial intelligence (Al), machine learning help analyze complex patient data to detect diseases earlier and tailor treatments to individual genetics.

- Remote Monitoring and Telehealth: Digital platforms and home medical devices (such as automated sleep apnea monitors l allow patients to test and monitor conditions from home, cutting down wait times from months to days and saving clinician hours

more precise operational and surgical equipment such as 3/4D printing or robotics.

Do you think that innovation changes things for the better in health and social care settings?

by Bibiche Muamba.

Yes, innovation has transformed health and social care services for better. In the past, many diseases that were once life- threatening can now be treated or managed affectively. Patients today have access to advanced treatments that can cure conditions or help people live well with the illness for much longer.

Modern technologies also make communication and care coordination much easier, and people now have plenty of reliable resources to seek information and professional advice. Overall, innovation has led to better health outcomes, more efficient care, and greater support for patients. (Care Quality Commission, 2022).
