by Ben Duxbury.

Good morning all, happy new year, I hope everyone is well. Just a quick message to let you know that the marks/feedback and names of supervisors for the dissertation poster/proposal will be released at 5pm today on the BMHP6020 Moodle page .→ Assessment submission → Project Proposal Feedback 25 - 26. Please note that it is up to you to initiate contact (via email) with your allotted supervisor. I would advise doing this as soon as possible (after the weekend); it would also be a good idea to take the poster/proposal feedback to your first session, as this might help in starting the supervisory process. I hope that is clear, please let me know if you have any questions/queries and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Good luck going forward, and I wish you all a pleasant weekend. Best wishes, Ben

by Ben Duxbury.

Good morning all, regarding your dissertation proposal posters, just to clarify that if the reference list is on the poster itself, there is no need to submit a separate reference list - but it is important that I can see all of the fully referenced sources of information on one or the other. Good work all at the beginning of the week, thanks for your efforts in presenting your plans. As regards next steps, I will inform you of your allotted supervisors in the coming period; once you have a name, it is up to you to make initial contact with them to arrange the first supervisory meeting. I wish you all a pleasant festive period, best wishes, Ben

by Ben Duxbury.

Good afternoon all, I hope you are well. Please note, firstly, that the rescheduled library/literature searching session with Lisa Ellis will take place during the lecture of next week (i.e. 17th November) - please do your best to attend, as this session will serve you well in terms of key literature searching information/tips. Secondly, the PPT to the lecture of this week and accompanying reference/reading list are now on Moodle. Note that the PPT details a task to do at home, i.e. the critical appraisal of a research article using a critical appraisal tool. You can complete the task using one of the research articles and (appropriate) critical appraisal tools that are available on the Moodle page; alternatively, you can use a research article and critical appraisal tool of your choice (details of the task can be found at the end of the PPT to the lecture of this week). Many thanks all, I hope you have a pleasant remainder of the week. Best wishes, Ben
