Building relationships with other healthcare professionals strengthens teamwork, encourages knowledge sharing, and improves patient care. A strong professional network also makes it easier to solve problems and learn from others’ experiences. Engaging with colleagues from different specialties can provide new perspectives and valuable skills. Participating in team meetings, case discussions, and cross-departments helps develop connections that support both career growth and workplace collaboration, Haven (2025).

Social media platforms also play a key role in professional networking. Platforms like LinkedIn allow healthcare workers to connect with colleagues, industry leaders, and recruiters while sharing insights and joining professional discussions. Facebook groups provide spaces where professionals exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and learn about job opportunities. Developing self-confidence and authenticity

In the e-Learning lessons, I learned about building self-confidence and being true to myself. This unit helped me see that confidence comes from knowing what I am good at and accepting what I am not so good at. I learned that everyone has different skills, and it is important to value my own abilities instead of comparing myself to others. The exercises in this unit taught me to think positively and set small goals, which made me feel more confident in making choices and acting (türkan halilsoy, 2024).

I also learned that being authentic is very important. Being honest and true to myself helps people to trust me and makes my relationships stronger. One activity in the unit asked me to think about my values and what really matters to me. I saw that sharing my true feelings and opinions can help me communicate better and work well with others. These e-Learning lessons gave me useful tips to be more confident and genuine in everyday life. I now understand that confidence and authenticity are skills I can improve with practice and self-reflection. This will help me grow both personally and in my future aspiring career as counsellor, (Freni, 2022).
